1. Overview
FundedOps (“we”, “our”, “us”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using FundedOps, you agree to the practices described here.
2. Information We Collect
2a. Information You Provide
- Account information — name, email address, and authentication credentials (managed by Clerk)
- Trade data — trade history, P&L records, positions, and account details you import via CSV or broker integrations
- Journal entries — notes, mood tags, sleep hours, and other journaling content you write
- Account preferences — timezone, currency, notification preferences, and plan selections
- Payment information — billing is handled by Stripe; we do not store your card details
2b. Information Collected Automatically
- Usage data — pages visited, features used, and interactions within the Service
- Log data — IP address, browser type, operating system, and timestamps of requests
- Cookies and local storage — used to maintain session state and user preferences (e.g., sidebar collapse state)
2c. Broker and Integration Data
When you connect a broker integration (e.g., Rithmic), we receive fill history and account data from that provider. This data is used solely to populate your FundedOps journal and is not shared with third parties.
3. How We Use Your Information
- Provide, operate, and maintain the Service
- Display your trade history, P&L analytics, and rule-compliance status
- Power AI coaching features using your trade data and journal entries
- Send email alerts for rule violations and drawdown warnings (if enabled)
- Process subscription payments via Stripe
- Respond to support requests and communications
- Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents
- Improve the Service using aggregated, anonymized analytics
4. Anonymized Cross-Trader Analytics
To power platform-wide AI coaching insights (e.g., how your performance compares to similar traders), we may use anonymized trade data across the platform. This data is processed in aggregate and cannot be used to identify you individually. Specifically:
- No personally identifiable information is included in cross-trader analytics
- Anonymized trade snapshots may be retained when you delete an account, purely for aggregate platform analytics
- Your journal entries (notes, mood, etc.) are never included in cross-trader analysis
5. Data Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for their marketing purposes. We share data only in these limited circumstances:
- Service providers — Clerk (authentication), Stripe (payments), Resend (email), Railway (database hosting), Vercel (hosting). Each processes your data only as necessary to provide their service.
- AI processing — AI coaching queries may be processed by Anthropic's Claude API. Trade data sent to the API is not retained by Anthropic for training per their API data usage policies.
- Legal requirements — We may disclose information if required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental authority.
- Business transfers — If FundedOps is acquired or merges with another entity, your data may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you via email before any such transfer.
6. Data Retention
We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. When you delete your account, your personal trade data and journal entries are permanently deleted within 30 days. Anonymized trade snapshots (with no personal identifiers) may be retained for platform analytics as described in Section 4.
We may retain certain data longer if required by law or for legitimate business purposes such as fraud prevention or resolving disputes.
7. Security
We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS), encrypted database connections, and access controls. Authentication is handled by Clerk, which uses secure, industry-standard protocols. Payments are handled by Stripe with PCI-DSS compliance.
No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security. If you discover a security vulnerability, please report it to support@fundedops.io.
8. Your Rights and Choices
Depending on your location, you may have the following rights:
- Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- Correction — request that inaccurate data be corrected
- Deletion — delete your account from the Settings page, or contact us to request deletion of specific data
- Portability — export your trade data at any time from within the Service
- Opt-out of emails — manage email alert preferences in Settings, or unsubscribe via any email we send

9. Cookies
We use cookies and browser local storage to maintain your session, remember preferences (such as sidebar state), and collect anonymous usage analytics. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling them may affect Service functionality.
10. Children's Privacy
The Service is not directed to individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
11. International Users
FundedOps is operated from the United States. If you access the Service from outside the U.S., your data may be transferred to and processed in the U.S., which may have different data protection laws than your country. By using the Service, you consent to this transfer.
If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), you have additional rights under GDPR. Contact us to exercise those rights.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or by posting a notice in the Service. The effective date at the top of this page indicates when it was last revised. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
